There are times, I believe, we are all in need of remembering those spiritually liberating feelings once we all had like the way we felt when we were childe. And I’m not really sure what am I trying to explain, but I guess out of all the things I need to mention in my bio, there is an urge to convey that making movies for me is a path that takes me back to the same purity I’d experienced as a child feeling immaculate. And every time I screen one of my movies whether it’s for a group of audience or even couple of my friends I invited them to a private premier, or even just one particular person, I have this feeling like I’m taking back them to that concept of pure feeling once they shared. And this feels so rewarding that I can’t help myself doing movies makes it a passion for me which I like to spread and share it all over the world, even if my world wouldn’t be too universally wide.
So I’m an Iranian actress, playwright and director based in Tehran studying French literature at Azad University Science and Research branch. Despite having a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics (2002), when I discovered my passion for cinema I decided to have academic education so I made the switch to dramatic literature at Sooreh University graduating in 2018. I’ve been acting in more than 30 Projects ranging from plays to short and long fictions for the past decade.
My passion has always been expressing myself in an undisguised way through my movies so within the past couple of years I’ve been writing and directing projects trying to achieve a combination of fiction, documentary and reflections of my personal life to capture an essence of my own vision through the filmmaking.
Throughout my works, I like to deliver messages of honesty, even small ones to my audience, even a few ones.
I do strongly believe that even if only one person is moved somehow by my movie in a profoundly positive way that their life changes for the better then I have accomplished what I strive for and I am truly satisfied with my work.
